having working in klia for almost 2 months is killing me..not because of the workload but the shift pattern...and i really thank god for getting one of the best shift in KLIA..it is the D shift also known as DODGERS shift..
ppl here are friendly and funny...in fact from the 1st day itself i felt so homie..lox
tho in the beginning i struggle a lot cuz there are many things that i do not know..perhaps im not a good apprentice..else life wudnt be so difficult at times..
so basically there are 4 shifts in KLIA-ASU from A to D and i think by far D is the best tho im not too sure abt the other 3 shifts..we work for 12hrs per day..2 days consecutive b4 having a 2 days break/off..hmm the tricky part is i still cant adjust the sleeping timing..as u'll have 2 days of morning shift and then u'll have 2 days of off-day and another 2 days of nite shift and again 2 days of off-day..
sounds easy but it is quite a tough actually especially from nite shift to morning shift..and i think im quite lucky as an apprentice becuz if ur a staff then there are certain days u need to come to work without getting paid...i dont really sure how they calculate this but according to the management it is becuz u need to have 48 working hours per week and u have to compensate the missing working hours by coming to work for free...to good to be true huh ?
cant comment much tho..it's not my call..
sounds shitty but yeah...the reality is there..
i can still remember during my 1st day here...OMG there are so many things that i don't know..how la? What am i supposed to do? and it keeps bugging my mind for few days and finally i can get hold of it..many thanks to those who helped me,who guided me, those who gave me opportunity to learn, and those who makes me laugh..u guys really rox..
*yawn* im so fucking sleepy rite now...
wish i cud tell more abt it..but i guess my hand wouldn't let me type anymore... = (
